Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, launched the \u201cMinistry of Health Accelerator for Biotechnology Companies\u201d program in partnership with BioLabs.<\/p>\n<p>The program aims to enhance innovation, expand global partnerships, and enable Saudi companies to contribute to improving the quality of health services, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the National Biotechnology Strategy under Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p>\n<p>The first cohort of the accelerator program included eight innovative Saudi companies in the field, specializing in plant-based insulin production, nanotherapy development, vaccine manufacturing, genetic and early diagnostics, treatment of genetic diseases, and combating antibiotic resistance.<\/p>\n<p>This accelerator is the first of its kind in the Kingdom in the field of biotechnology, and it also represents the first initiative launched by BioLabs in the Middle East region.<\/p>\n<p>The program extends over seven months and includes specialized training programs, targeted support tracks, in addition to providing access to advanced research
