Saudi Arabia joins the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI).
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially joined the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) under the supervision of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, represented by SDAIA, becoming the first Arab and Gulf country in this alliance.
The organization brings together 46 countries and is defined as a platform for coordinating international policies and standards on responsible uses of artificial intelligence, as well as shaping research and development directions in this sector.
Through its membership, Saudi Arabia aims to actively participate in global regulatory dialogues and support efforts to localize digital technologies, in parallel with the objectives of Vision 2030.
